HIGGINS, Carol Mary (nee Primeau)

Suddenly at her residence on Thursday, April 11, 2024 in her 73rd year.  Beloved wife of Bob Higgins in their 53rd year of marriage.  Loving mother of Jessica Higgins, Mandy Higgins (Shawn Hatfield) and Trisha Cicchello (Max).  Cherished grandmother of Taylor, Alexis, Jordyn, Jase, Drew, Mona and Stella.  Dear sister of Gail Hetherington (Paul Higgins and the late Jim), the late Fred Primeau (Pat), the late Paul Primeau (the late Shirley), Wayne Primeau (Kim), Anne Primeau (the late Don Emby), Peter Primeau (Chantelle), the late David Primeau (Christine), Dennis Primeau, the late Doug Primeau, Michael Primeau and the late Johnny Primeau.  Carol will be  sadly missed by her many nieces,  nephews and friends.  Friends will be received at the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE 2510 Bensfort Rd Peterborough on Thursday from 6:00-9:00 PM.  A Celebration of Carol’s Life held on Friday, April 19, 2024 at 1:00 PM in the Highland Park Funeral Centre with reception to follow. In honouring Carol, her family encourages all who attend to wear Carol’s favorite color, “PURPLE” .
